Gordon Kaiser, Neil McCrank and Leonard Waverman have years of experience in the energy sector as mediators, arbitrators and expert witnesses. Neil McCrank for a number of years was the Chair of the Alberta Utilities Commission. Mr. Kaiser served as Vice Chair of the Ontario Energy Board at the same time. He is the author of the well known book, Energy Law and Policy and over 30 articles in well-established journals. For over 10 years he has been an editor of the Energy Regulation Quarterly Gordon Kaiser and Leonard Waverman are also established experts in competition law. For 10 years Gordon Kaiser acted as a Special Counsel in competition law for both the Atty. Gen. Canada and the Commissioner of Competition. He completed over 50 cases acting for the government and another 50 cases acting as defence counsel. He has negotiated settlements in most of these cases all of which are listed in his bio.

Mr. Kaiser has served as an Adjunct Professor in Competition Law at three universities, the University of Toronto, Queen’s University and the Osgoode Hall Law School. He is the author of three books in the area: Competition law in Canada, Corporate Crime and Civil Liability and the Regulation of Energy Market Manipulation. He also as the Market Surveillance Administrator for the Province of Alberta. He is currently on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Competition Law Review.

Ron Dimmick is one of the leading patent and copyright counsel in Canada including a number of mediations arbitrations. Gordon Kaiser focuses on trademark law but that particular reference to franchise agreements.
